OIC-IPHRC commemorates the ‘Islamic Human Rights & Human Dignity Day’ and expresses deep concern over double standards in dealing with human rights crises and calls for reviving trust in the international human rights system by upholding the universality and impartiality of human rights principles, starting from ending the human rights tragedy in Gaza Strip and holding the Israeli occupation regime accountable for its war crimes and genocide.

OIC-IPHRC, on the occasion of ‘World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 2025’ condemns the rising scourge of Trafficking in Persons in all its forms and manifestations and calls for adopting human rights-based universal mechanisms to eliminating its root causes, devising normative standards to hold criminals accountable and promoting international cooperation.

تعتبر الهيئة الدائمة المستقلة لحقوق الإنسان إحدى أهم الأجهزة الرئيسية في منظمة التعاون الإسلامي، ثاني أكبر منظمة حكومية دولية بعد الأمم المتحدة، بحيث تضم في عضويتها 57 دولة موزعة على أربع قارات. وتعمل الهيئة كهيئة خبراء استشارية لمجلس وزراء خارجية منظمة التعاون الإسلامي. وتضطلع بمهامها بكل استقلالية وموضوعية ، مركزة على قضايا حقوق الإنسان التي تهم منطقة منظمة التعاون الإسلامي ، ومنها وضعية حقوق الإنسان المكفولة للأقليات والمجتمعات المسلمة في الدول غير الأعضاء في المنظمة. .
