The OIC-IPHRC holds two regular sessions each year, either at its headquarters in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, or in any other OIC Member State willing to host the session. In this regard, the OIC-IPHRC Secretariat determines the dates of the regular sessions in consultation with the OIC-IPHRC Bureau and informs the OIC-IPHRC Members and Member States of the time and venue in advance.
The duration of each regular session goes from five (5) to ten (10) days. Prior to holding a session, the OIC-IPHRC Executive Director develops a draft agenda along with the detailed program in consultation with the OIC-IPHRC Bureau.
As part of its regular sessions, the OIC-IPHRC also holds a thematic discussion focusing specifically on contemporary issues of common interest. A comprehensive final document reflecting the outcomes of the discussion is adopted on such occasions.
